Joe
Owner
Joe is a farming enthusiast who’s been in the construction business for over 30 years. He’s very excited about the multiple applications of the cannabis plant. He passionately loves his three dogs - Diva, Looie, and Nike - horseback riding, and yoga.
Ashlee Turner
Executive Vice President
Ashlee has an educational background in Animal Science and has been involved in agribusiness for over 15 years. She joined the team in 2015 to diversify our farming operations in Northern and Southern Oregon. Her passion for cannabis medicine and agribusiness turned North South from a passion project to a full-on farming cooperative. She loves plants, rock climbing, and her horse Du Pars.
Joel Diaz
Director of Cultivation
Joel earned a B.S. in Microbiology from CSU Chico in 2011 and has 12 years of growing experience in the marijuana industry. He believes that success is reflected by the strength of one’s team and is excited to share the results of North South’s hard work.
Jay McElyea
Farm Foreman
After a lifetime of working in sawmills and manufacturing jobs, Jay and his family back to his birthplace of Southern Oregon. There he rediscovered his love of all things outdoors and realized that to truly be happy he would have to do something different. Learning the ins and outs of farming has provided him with a career where he finally enjoys going to work every day. When he’s not on the farm he enjoys spending time with his wife, teenage daughter, and pets.
